Planning to be in Paris over the next couple days? If so, may we suggest popping into Prada’s newest venture — a 24-hour pop-up museum. Designed by Milan-based artist Francesco Vezzoli and Rem Koolhaas’ think tank AMO, the museum opens tomorrow, Tuesday January 24, 2012 at the Palais d’Iéna in Paris and closes Wednesday, January 25 at 8:30 p.m.

Opening with an invitation-only dinner, followed by night-club party, we expect this will draw in some of fashion’s biggest names. If you aren’t one of the lucky one’s who’ve scored an invite, the public viewing begins on Wednesday at 7 a.m. with specific hours throughout the day.

The installation itself is divided into three sections, all inspired by a particular type of museum space — historic, contemporary and forgotten. The work of Francesco Vezzoli will be visible in the central space, where a large metal cage with neon lights will house his work. Within the museum, Vezzoli shows his personal tribute to the allure of femininity by interpreting classical sculptures that make reference to contemporary divas. Other highlights of the museum include films featuring Sharon Stone and Lady Gaga.

Admission to this museum is free.
