The Caribbean’s oldest luxury hotel, The Crane Residential Resort is celebrating a major milestone this year — 125 years! To mark this, as well as their multi-million dollar restoration, the resort is offering 365 of events, festivals and specials starting now until April 2013.

Located in beautiful Barbados, this beachside retreat has been a popular hideaway for generations of guests looking to enjoy low-key elegance steps away from the pink powdery sand of Crane Beach. The restoration of the resort include the 55,000 square-foot Crane Village, a guest pavilion which includes a dining, shopping, entertainment, and health and wellness centre. Here you’ll find restaurants including the casual Italian eatery D’Onfonio’s, Japanese and Thai restaurant Zen, as well as the island’s fine dining gem, L’Azure, which underwent an extensive enrichment.

While were are told there are going to be plenty of specials throughout the next 365 days, to kick-off this celebration, The Crane is offering a “Crane 125 Package” (based on a five-night stay) valid from May 1 – December 22, 2012 and includes:

  • US$125 spa credit per room
  • US$125 dining credit per room to be used at any of the resort’s restaurants or eateries

Sounds pretty good to us. We can’t wait to see what else The Crane has in store.
