In case you missed their auction the last time Air Transat is at it again with a second Twitter Auction raising money for SOS Children’s Villages. On April 23 for 12 hours, the Canadian airline is putting 20 flights across multiple European destinations up for auction departing from cities all across the country. Entering is simple. Follow Air Transat on Twitter (@AirTransat), head over to www.transatauction.ca, where you can see all of the destinations up for grabs and when the auction starts, you submit your bid via Twitter and keep your fingers crossed!

The bidding period for each destination will last only 30 minutes, so head over to the Auction site or keep a close eye on Twitter to find out when the destination you want to bid on comes up. All of the proceeds will be going to SOS Children’s Villages, an organization that provides children in need with a caring, loving and secure family environment to ensure their basic needs for food, health, shelter, and education are met.

The destinations you can bid on include: Athens, Prague, Lisbon, Budapest, Rome, London and Paris. The seven departing cities across the country include: Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, St. John’s and Halifax.

Last December during their #SunAuction, Air Transat generated about 47,300 bids and close to $30,000 was raised in support of SOS Children’s Villages.

“We are delighted to be offering Canadian travellers this second edition of our #TransatAuction,” says Annick Guérard, General Manager, Transat Tours Canada. “There is no other online event like this one, and it’s the perfect opportunity to mix practicality and pleasure, by getting a great deal on one of Transat’s 26 European destinations and supporting a worthy cause at the same time.”

Head over to the Air Transat Auction site to get the full details on how to enter. Good luck!
