Often you’ll find hotels at 50% off the regular price. 

The great thing about this site is how easy it is to find a hotel in your destination of choice or even search for hotels that meet your criteria (ie. Less than $1500 or 3 nights). The auction process can often get you the best deal, but like eBay, you aren’t guaranteed to win that particular bid. Plus every bid is a binding agreement, so once you’ve agreed, if you win, you buy. For those who’d rather just pay outright and still get a deal, there’s the “Buy Now” option too. The prices are just a tad higher than the auction starting point, but are still way less than the regular price.
