St. Vincent’s First Five-Star Resort

St. Vincent’s First Five-Star Resort

Buccament-BayKnown as “The Jewels of the Caribbean,” St. Vincent & The Grenadines are made up of 32 small islands including the largest island of St. Vincent. Opening this summer is the luxury Buccament Bay Resort, which will be the first five-star resort on St. Vincent. The resort is the first from the new hotel brand, Harlequin Hotels & Resorts, which is planning on more developing more properties in St. Lucia, Barbados, and the Dominican Republic.

With 338 rooms from beachfront villas to hotel suites, other resort features include The Alaia Spa designed by ESPA, several restaurants, bars and lounges, The Pat Cash Tennis Academy with expert tennis coaching and a resort marina where you can launch your yacht or plan water sports. There’s also an onsite galleon ship, The Pear offering dinner cruises and drinks, plus of course a large fitness centre (to work off those indulgent meals).

We’re fans of the hotels’ sustainability strategy, including using local supplies, minimizing waste and pollution, as well as recruiting locally and supporting social development on the island.

So far it looks and sounds amazing — from the accomodations to the extensive ameneties. We can’t wait to pay a visit in the near future!
