6 Face Oils Perfect For Travel

Pack these high-potency skin-savers in your carry-on for flawless skin no matter your locale, or how many hours you didn’t sleep on a plane.

When it comes to your skin, not much wreaks more havoc on it than travel. Temperature changes, humidity differences, and can we say airplane air?! It all chalks up to seriously dry, sensitive and breakout prone skin. One way to curb all of those skin issues is with a moisture-rich, deeply-hydrating face oil. It’s something I swear by when I travel. I use my face oils as moisturizer, day and night (I pat an extra layer on at night), and I even use it on any bit of skin that is dry (i.e. lips, hands, elbows, etc.). If you’re a bit wary of face oils still, I get it. It seems counter intuitive in a lot of ways, but I read this Vogue article a couple of years ago and it got me on the bandwagon. Here are a few of my current faves.

The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil

The ultimate in hydration has to been rosehip seed oil. Full of the vitamins and antioxidants your skin needs to replenish and reduce skin issues like dark spots and aging, this oil is ideal if you’re looking to get your skin back to a youthful glow. It’s also incredible for dry, itchy skin, which can sometimes arise when you’re experiencing different humidity levels.

USE FOR: Dark spot treatment, itchy skin, very dry skin.
