The New York Times listed Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa as one of 2014’s hottest travel destinations.

The New York Times has divulged where they think you should pack your bags and travel to this year. Among the top destinations? Calgary, Alberta (the only Canadian mention which was selected for it’s thriving pubic art scene, the Peace Bridge and of course, the Stampede), Vietnam, Perth, Vienna, Cape Town, Namibia and Frankfurt to name a few. Getting to all these amazing locales may be a feat for most of the average travellers, but at the very least it will provide some travel inspiration for the next 12 months for nearly every type of traveller (budget-friendly Ishigaki, Japan to eco-lodges in Laikipia Plateau nestled between Mount Kenya and the Great Rift Valley, to temple haven Yogyakarta, Indonesia).
